Casa Palapa is located in Aventuras Akumal directly on a sandy beach, you can relax in the hammocks or lounge under the shade of the large palapa (thatched roof) and enjoy the gentle sea breezes. While away your time watching the sparkling colors of the Caribbean, build a sand castle, splash in the sea or snorkel in the bay.

The villa is very private as it is located at the most southern end of the beach. Smoking is not allowed. The entry to the home is through lush tropical gardens. The living area and dining area are spacious and comfortable.the villa has lots of immaculate marble floors and baths. The wall to wall, floor to ceiling windows offer a vista of the Caribbean that is breathtaking. The full kitchen ( has all that you will need, including microwave, toaster, blender, cooking utensils and dishes.) offers both garden views and ocean views, depending on which directions one faces. There is a powder room on the main floor. Just outside the sliding glass doors on the first level is a very private sand deck, complete with a covered patio. Perfect for outdoor dining. or just privacy from the beach beyond. The palapa sits above the beach line, offering a shady yet semi private view of up and down the beach.

Inside, the bedrooms are all on the second floor, and each offer ocean views. The largest is the master, which faces the beach. It has it's own bath. The center room is the smallest, and hosts two twim beds. At the end is the 3rd bedroom, which also has an outdoor terrace. There is a garden side hall bath that the second and third bedrooms share. Casa Palapa can accommodate 8 guests in comfort and style.

There is scuba diving in the area with a dive shop near the villa. You can also enjoy excursions to Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, Tulum and Coba. Or explore the jungles where you'll find caves with dramatic formations. Other activities along the coast include fishing, horseback riding, sailing and much, much more

The colors of the home are tropical and bright, cooled down by the stunning marble floors. This home is a great value, and has much to offer, especially privacy, as it is one of the most private on the beach at Aventuras Akumal.
