Cancun and the Mexican Caribbean are natural wonders. The sun shines 240 days a year, in winter the temperature drops into the upper seventies with refreshing Caribbean breezes.

It's a safe bet. More than 40,000 foreigners have already invested in Mexico. It's a good bet, too - property values continue to rise, and very little investment property is available for purchase.

Beginning in the 1970's the country has actively encouraged and protected foreign investment in tourist areas, which now rank third in tourism worldwide following the USA and France.

Foreign investment in Mexico jumped 22% in Cancun and the state of Quintana Roo in 1999 - an area which represents almost 20% of the overall foreign investment in Mexico.

Foreign investment percentages remain 65% USA, 21% European and 8.4% Asian.
