WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO HAVE A FULL TIME CAREER REALTOR®?

HOW DOES THIS HELP ME ?

There are many folks out there licensed to perform the functions of real estate. You may know several people so it is important to pick one that can best help you in your buying or selling transaction.

EDUCATION

Check to see that the REALTOR® has more than the basic license. There are many courses and designations/certifications above and beyond the minimum. This shows that the REALTOR® is investing in himself/herself and is to your benefit! This is a choice the agent made to improve himself/herself educationally, not a requirement. Some common certifications are AMPI ( this is the Mexican Realtor Association ) equal to the NAR in the USA, CIPS ( Certified International Property Specialist, CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) and ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative).

EXPERIENCE

Do you want to help your neighbor's daughter get started in business? Or, do you want someone who has been in the business for years with many hundreds of transactions/closings? You really need a full career REALTOR® to help you buy or sell. You will only have several of these transactions in your lifetime involving many thousands of dollars. Pick your REALTOR® wisely!

EXPERTISE

A REALTOR® who has many years of full time experience plus hundreds of closings should chalk up a professional expertise that is all for your benefit in buying and selling. This is what you should want and you need!

EXCELLENCE

A REALTOR® who strives for excellence is one who has high standards and is like a super athlete, an Olympian! This excellence in the work ethic and standards of work is all your benefit so that you have the best transaction possible!
