Property Management and Villa Rental

St. Martin Villa Rentals provides property management to home owners on the island of St. Martin/St. Maarten.  In addition to management services, we are a rental agent for the villa owners.  We alleviate some of the pressure of owning a home overseas as well as offer quality vacation rentals to visitors to our island.  The following are some other services we provide for our clients, renters and owners alike.

Welcome to the Island

When you arrive on St. Martin/St. Maarten, one of our representatives will greet you at the airport.  They are there to help you with car rental as well as escort you to your villa.  Once at the villa, they will be happy to answer any questions you may have or point you in the right direction to grocery stores, restaurants or other points of interest.  Our on-island staff is always happy to help you throughout your stay with any questions or concerns that may arise. 

Your villa will be supplied with a welcome package consisting of beverages and food stuffs so you can get aquatinted with your surroundings and relax before grocery shopping.  If you arriving late in the evening, we can supply the villa with a sufficient amount of groceries for a late supper upon request.   There is an additional fee as well as the cost of food for this service.

Villa Services

Each villa is staffed with a maid and a gardener.   The maid at your villa will clean 6 days a week, everyday except Sunday (and holidays).  It is recommended that you tip the maid at the end of your stay for good service.  We recommend $2.00 - 3.00 per person per day.  The gardener will visit the villa twice a week.  Tipping is not necessary.  Please note that some villas have the maid and/or the gardener or another caretaker living on the property.  They live in separate quarters and are there for your convenience.  The pool will be serviced once a week.

Airfare

For the past six years we have worked closely with Travel Anywhere, a travel agency in the United States, for our company travel as well as the travel for our clients.  We are now part of their outside sales team and can book your tickets directly from anywhere in the world to the island of St. Martin/St. Maarten.   We believe this will save our clients time when it comes to making vacation plans.   We are dedicated to getting you the best rates possible for travel to the island.   We will notify you if airline sales will benefit your current travel rates and change your tickets accordingly.  This service is no additional cost to our villa rental clients.

Car and Jeep Rentals

We can arrange for your car to be ready at the airport when we greet you.  We use the services of two different local car companies, Summer Set and Best Deal.  They have quality cars and great prices.  Sedans, soft-top and hard-top jeeps, stationwagons and minibuses are available for rental during your stay.   Please inquire about prices when making a reservation.

Long Distance and Cellular Phone Service

The phones at the villas are restricted to island use only.  You will be provided with an 800 number which will connect you to an operator to make long distance credit card calls while on the island.  Cellular phones can be brought to the island and activated for use with a credit card upon arrival.  If you do not have a cellular phone but would like one on the island, we can arrange a rental for you.

Chef and Cook Service

Chef and cook service is available at all of the villas through a local catering company called Fabulous Feasts.  The will come directly to the villa and supply up to three meals a day.  Prices begin at $100.00/day and up plus the cost of food.  There is a five day minimum required.  If you do not require chef service every day, they also provide a dinner service.  With at least 24 hours notice, Fabulous Feasts will come directly to the villa to serve dinner to you and your party.  This is a nice way to have a great dinner in.  Prices and menus vary.  A menu will be supplied to you when you arrive.

Extra Persons and Children's Needs

Maximum occupancy for all villas is two persons per bedroom.  On occasion allowances will be made for children if a larger home is not available.  In this case, cribs and cots are available for rental from St. Martin Rentals at a price of $15.00/night.  Car seats are also available for rental at $15.00/day.  There are numerous baby-sitting services on the island which will give you parents a chance to get out and enjoy the island on your own!

Weddings

St. Maarten has recently approved weddings for non-residents.  We can arrange to have you married on the island.  The Dutch side is the only side which will perform marriages.  If you are staying in a Dutch side villa, you can be married at the house if you choose.  If you are staying on the French side, you must be married in the Wedding Hall in Philipsburg, the Dutch side capital.  Two witnesses are required for Wedding Hall marriages and four witnesses for villa ceremonies.  If you are not bringing guests, we would be happy to supply witnesses for a small fee.  We can also arrange for flowers, cake and all the extras.   Ceremony prices vary.  Please try to give as much notice as possible (at least three months) to make sure all the arrangements are in place.  If you are in a hurry, we can arrange for you to be married on the neighboring island of Anguilla.
